The Quest for the Stealth Look
The 2015 Silverado is a favorite for 'Stealth' or 'Murdered Out' builds. But should you paint your grille or use a vinyl wrap? Or is there a third, more permanent option?
Painting (Permanent)
Painting provides the best color match and gloss level but is prone to rock chips on the highway. Once it chips, the original chrome or plastic shows through, looking unsightly.
Vinyl Wrap (Temporary)
Vinyl is great for experimentation but lacks the depth of high-end finishes. In the heat of summer, vinyl on a front grille can begin to peel at the edges due to engine heat.
The Engraving Nation Solution
Why compromise? Our fully engraved black emblems provide the depth of custom art with the durability of heavy-duty materials that won't chip like paint or peel like vinyl.
